EXTERIOR SIDING

Board N Batten or Batten Board siding is very common siding on historic homesteads, ranches and farms across the U.S. It is ran vertically board to board and the batten is nailed covering the gap between the vertical ran boards. Board n Batten is sawn mostly in the Pacific Northwest from Cedar and Sugar Pine at a full 1” thick 12” wide Board with the Batten 1” thick and 3”-4” wide.

Nickle Gap siding is an old traditional horizontal siding that has been reimagined into a modern aesthetic. Commonly referred to as “Shiplap,” this profile highlights a 1/8” Gap between boards for a modern and sleek appearance. The face of the boards can be milled from 3” to 8 1/2” wide.

Shadow Gap siding is an exaggerated Nickel Gap, with a 1/4” gap between boards. The face of the boards can be milled from 3” to 8 1/2” wide.
